The Great Ocean Road

Once we leave the city we set off on an adventure. The Great Ocean Road is amazing and you will see amazing sights with Adventures Beyond.  You are on an adventure with a maximum of 21 people, giving us flexibility and enabling us to visit the best places at the best times, on every tour.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Wildlife Viewing and Adventure in the Grampians (L&D)

Pick up Adelaide Accommodation Approximately 6.30am

• Adelaide to Halls Gap
• Drive through Adelaide Hills
• View Mt Arapiles
• Hikes to Mackenzie Falls and The Balconies in the Grampians National Park
• Dormitory Style accommodation in Halls Gap, the Grampians

Day 2 - Explore the Great Ocean Road (B,L&D)

• Halls Gap to Princetown
• Visit the Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre
• Spend the morning Hiking the Grampians
• Drive Along Great Ocean Road
• View Bay of Martyrs, London Bridge & Loch Ard Gorge
• Sunset at the Twelve Apostles
• Overnight accommodation in Port Campbell

Day 3 - Explore the Great Ocean Road and Surf Coast (B&L)

• Princetown to Melbourne
• Sunrise at the Twelve Apostles
• Walk through ancient temperate rainforest in the Otway National Park
• Experience the coastal towns along the Great Ocean Road including Apollo Bay, Lorne and Bells Beach
• Time to Shop at the surf brand outlets in Torquay
• Arrive Melbourne approximately 7.00pm
