The Adventures Beyond 2 Day Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventure departs Adelaide at 6.15am where we pick you up from your Adelaide CBD accommodation. We drive down the Western side of the Fleurieu Peninsula, before boarding the SEALINK ferry at 9am. After the 45 minute ferry ride across Backstairs Passage (good chance of seeing dolphins) we arrive at Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island around 10am.

Pick ups can also be arranged from Port Elliot and Victor Harbor on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

On Kangaroo Island

Once on Kangaroo Island, we set off in search of wildlife and adventure. Our guides have the power to tailor the itinerary depending on the weather and the group. With Adventures Beyond, you are on an adventure with a maximum of 21 people, giving us flexibility and enabling us to visit the best places at the best times, on every tour.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Wildlife Viewing and Adventure on Kangaroo Island (L&D)

• Depart Adelaide at 6:15am
• SEALINK ferry to Kangaroo Island
• Prospect Hill
• Pennington Bay
• Kayaking at Vivonne Bay (summer program only) OR
• Optional Quad Bike Tour with Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action with Kangaroos
• Flinders Chase National Park
• Remarkable Rocks
• Admirals Arch
• Nocturnal Activity; looking at Little Penguins
• Enjoy the campfire

Day 2 - Wildlife Viewing and Adventure on Kangaroo Island (B&L)

• Sand Boarding at Little Sahara
• Guided walk with ranger on the Beach with the Sea Lions at Seal Bay
• North coast of Kangaroo Island
• Stokes Bay
• Snorkelling (Summer program only)
• More photo time
• More sightseeing
• More beautiful beaches
• SEALINK ferry to Cape Jervis
• Return to Adelaide at around 08:30pm

May return with Dolphin Charter Boat or Sealink Ferry depending on weather and other circumstances.

You need:

Comfortable clothes & shoes, towel, water bottle, small day pack, sunscreen & a hat, warm clothes for the cold nights, a sense of adventure anything you would require for taking photos, hiking and swimming.
