The Transport

Adventures Beyond run a small fleet of modern vehicles all with air conditioning and very comfortable seats. All vehicles and trailers are fitted out with stereos suitable for CD's and MP3's/IPOD’s, up to date safety equipment and modern quality equipment including sand boards, body boards, lunch kits and loads of other toys for a real Kangaroo Island adventure.

Water Based Transport

Sealink Ferry

On the Adventures Beyond 2 Day Kangaroo Island Experience and on extremely rough days we use the SEALINK Ferry. This air conditioned ferry offers a 45 minute ride to Kangaroo Island and has a cafe and bar with comfortable seats and is a pleasurable way to get to Kangaroo Island.

Kayaks

Adventures beyond use double and single sit on top kayaks inthe Harriet River, these include life jackets (PFD's) and paddles.  Sit on top kayaks are stable, safe and if you fall off you fall straight into the water, you do not get stuck upside down.  This makes them perfect for the beginner and more advanced.

Adventures Beyond - Tour Buses

Adventures Beyond run 21 seat Toyota Coaster Coaches for our 2 and 3 Day Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures. All are air conditioned, have comfortable forward facing seats and are perfect for our small groups of 21 people maximum.  On the 1 Day tour our partner uses 52 sat luxury coaches.

ATV / Quad Bikes

Adventures Beyond offer an optional extra of a 1.5 hour Quad Bike tour where you are guaranteed to see Kangaroo's. There are models of ATV's including 90cc, 125cc and 250cc models to use including sports upgrades.  ATV's are Yamaha or Polaris Brands.

The Accommodation

Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary

Adventures Beyond - Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures offer both options of sleeping in dormitory style accommodation or out under the stars in a Australian swag (bed roll with canvas and mattress).  Located at the Western End of Kangaroo Island – Adventures Beyond - Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures stay at the Hanson Bay Wildlife sanctuary.  The property is home to the Kangaroo Island Koala walk and is heritage listed.

Adventures Beyond - Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures provide all linen, there is an inside and outdoor Camp fire and comfy couches, beautiful native bush land to explore and there are also single / double / twin upgrades available – you just need to request this upon booking. (Upgrades are $60 per night for the room so $30 per person twin share).  There are also girls only dorms available upon request and subject to availability.

It is the perfect place to relax and unwind after an action packed Adventures Beyond day.  Sit inaround the campfire, play some billiards or explore the bushland in search for wildlife!

Adventures Beyond - Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures has exclusive access to the original homestead and it is an amazing clean, comfortable and relaxing place to stay set among some of Kangaroo Island's loveliest bush land.  There is wildlife everywhere - it is a wildlife sanctuary after all!
