Dampier Peninsula in the Kimberley

Dampier is located in Kimberley between Darwin and Broome.

Kooljaman at Cape Leveque, in the northernmost tip of the Dampier Peninsula is a destination for camping where people can appreciate the Aboriginal wilderness.

Aboriginal families are still there, they actually guide people throughout the experience. Especially that fun activities in our tours from Darwin such as sleeping in safari style, or paper bark cabins, exploring old mission ruins with the locals, reef walking and snorkelling are also available.

There are also must-visit remote communities like Chile Creek, Mudnunn, La Djardarr Ba and Beagle Bayt. In 1917, the Palatine monks and Aboriginal people built a Catholic Church there with its altar made of mother of pearl shell.

Dampier is also home to the famous "Red Dog"- a movie about a dog which was made in 2010's.
